Rhubarb

We have three rhubarb plants in the backyard, all split from one that was rootbound. All three are in different stages of growth.

Rhubarb is down right creepy looking as it first emerges from the ground.
Then the leaves are all sickly-looking and crinkly.

Then they finally start to look more attractive as they open up.

This year I have to do a better job of cooking it before it gets all woody.
