Why Do I Worry?

The back lane was 'fixed' September 29. I was worried about the high speeds and traffic that would inevitably happen.
We had a few days of rain, and there were potholes again. I muttered darkly to our councillor, and, before I could get pictures, a truck came out with some black gunk, the holes were filled and packed with the wheels of the truck. I doubt that will work, but I think this lane will be very bumpy again before long.
Gah!! What a waste of taxpayers money.

I'm ready for Hallowe'en

Bags under my eyes and one looking somewhat bruised? Nose looking somewhat crooked? One evil red eye? Perfect Hallowe'en get-up. Too bad I'm a few months too early.

I Cooked the Camera

The water in the Grand Cenote, which peeled the paint off the camera, may also have damaged the seal to the battery compartment.
We took the camera snorkeling today, and some water entered and fried the battery (and everything else).
I´m just hoping the memory chip is still ok.

I´m already going through withdrawal. (sigh)
